FOOD BANK ACCEPTING DONATIONS

The Food Bank is currently accepting donations of non-perishable food items as well as toiletries. Donations can be dropped off on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays from 10am to 12pm at the Old Bridge Food Bank, located at 1 Old Bridge Plaza, Old Bridge, NJ 08857. We have set up a NO CONTACT drop off right outside of the Food Bank for your convenience and safety. Monetary donations in the form of checks can also be mailed to: Old Bridge Food Bank, 1 Old Bridge Plaza, Old Bridge, NJ 08857. Thank you!

If you are in need of food assistance, please call 732-721-5600, ext. 2022. Voicemails are monitored daily so please make sure to leave your name and phone number so we can call you back as soon as we can.

The Food Bank is available by appointment only for Old Bridge residents in need of food assistance. We are located at the municipal complex next to the Building Department. Our building looks like a little red barn.   We carry a variety of perishable and non-perishable items to help families put a hearty meal on the table.

We continue to work on partnerships to be able to provide our clients with fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as fresh bread, milk and eggs.

Client Qualifications                     

Residents are qualified based on the income guidelines issued by the Federal Food Stamp Program. In order to receive assistance, you must be and Old Bridge resident and have applied for SNAP (previously known as Food Stamps) at the Middlesex County Board of Social Services at 732-745-3500.  After applying with SNAP, you will need to schedule an appointment for an intake.   Please call Anahita Feltz, Food Bank Manager at 732-721-5600 ext. 6625 to schedule an appointment.   You must bring the following information and meet the income guidelines.

Two Proofs of Residency (tax bill, utility bill, cell phone bill, bank statement)
Award or Denial Letter from SNAP
Income Verification (last two consecutive pay stubs, unemployment pay stubs or bank statement showing direct deposit)
SSA, SSD, SSI award letter
